Plan of Salvation

His plan for us includes a full life (abundant) and a forever life (eternal).

The Bible explains it this way: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. -John 3:16

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that
may have life, and have it to the full. – John 10:10

But there is a problem and it is not with God, it is with us.

The problem is universal (every person has this problem).
The problem is called SIN!

The Bible explains it this way:
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23

As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;” Romans:3:10

Because God is holy (perfect) and just (fair) He requires a payment for man’s sin.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life… Romans 6:23

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
Hebrews 9:27

Because of our sin, we all face death and divine judgment,
but there is GOOD NEWS.

Jesus Christ offered Himself up to die on the cross as payment for ALL sin.

The Bible explains it this way:
For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous,
to bring you to God.
He was put to death in the body but made alive
by the Spirit, 1 Peter 3:18

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners,
Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through him.
John 3:17

But it is not enough to just believe with our head . . .
we must BELIEVE in our heart.

A full and forever life is promised to all who believe upon Jesus Christ.
That “Forever Life” means that Christ will be with us to help us in this life,
and that we will be with HIM in Heaven in the next life.

The Bible explains it this way:
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
Revelation 3:20

You can pray to invite Jesus Christ into your life right now.

ADMIT to him that you have sinned.
BELIEVE that He died on the cross so your sin can be forgiven.
CONFESS Jesus in your heart and with your mouth.
